Called on our way home from a hospital visit. 2 of us had the chicken stack which was, beautifully cooked & the 3rd person had a,burger with Parmasan fries which was, excellent. Staff were attentive & helpful. Meal was well priced. Will certainly be back.
Attended today for a Mother’s Day meal, despite the restaurant being very busy, service was fast and couldn’t believe how quick our meals came out. Ordered the steak and it was genuinely one of the nicest steaks I’ve had in a long time, and portion sizes very very generous! Struggled to finish it but persevered because it was too nice to leave any Got the garlic and Parmesan fries as a side and would highly recommend them. Staff very friendly and attentive throughout. Really good value for money and better than most of the well know restaurants I’ve been to in Belfast.
We were based with my colleagues in hotel across the street for couple of weeks so obviously we went here for some evening refreshments and some delicious food too...lovely atmosphere not so crowded and we were super lucky with almost 2 weeks of sunny days so we could sit also outside enjoying the sunshine while waiting for our food to be ready...any choice we had was done in time and very tasty also list of dessert if you go for some light lunch of soup can't be missed and various choices of non alcoholic drinks was good for drivers. Funny statements on the walls add to the friendliness of the local staff. Good job Foxes
My friend and I called in here for dinner. She lives nearby so it was a nice 20 minute stroll. We booked a table but they took us when we arrived. It has a real pub feeling and a great atmosphere. There is so much on the menu it'll take a while to read and make a decision. My friend had the Chicken Curry which they presented as a half and half and I had the Peppered Chicken Stack which was great too. Great place. Highly recommended.
We turned up on a very busy Monday evening... but were seated quickly with drinks. We were told that there was a half hour wait and it was ...but it didn't matter as the food was delicious. My first Irish stew and champ in Ireland and it didn't let me down.
Been here twice, always an amazing experience, staff amazing and friendly, booked online via there webpage, prompt response and extremely polite. Food portions very generous, sides top notch, and service and food service time was prompt and quick and piping hot
As a yorkshire lad brought up on real food, Ellie Mays just fits the bill. Went today with family. We all had Roast Beef and Yorksire pudding, which hit the mark for taste and satisfaction. If you want good wholesome food and at a reasonable pricemake Ellie Mays is a go-to place.
Called in on way to the airport, staff was friendly and helpful. Had a great meal and was surprised by the price...great value.
